Well, there
is not much to say about the story of Superman, as you all know
it by heart, right?! Sent from his collapsing homeplanet Krypton
to Earth by his father, Superman (Kal-El) was found by the farmers
Jonathan and Martha Kent. Superman grew up with the Kent's, who
named him Clark. Thanks to the Sun of the Earth, Clark had unbelievable
power. Soon he realised that he was the strongest man on Earth,
and from the very beginning he used his strenght only to help and
protect innocent people! Only for good.

Clark
went to Metropolis, his new home town, keeping his powers secret to
everybody. Untill he decided to show up as Superman. But he always
kept his secret identity Clark Kent. As Clark Kent he works for the
Daily Planet, the biggest Newspaper. There he also meets Lois Lane.
She is one of the few, knowing the secret behind Clark Kent, and they
even get married later on... |

Beeing Superman is for sure not an easy job, so he had a lot to
go through, our Superman. Not only on Earth, but also on other several
planets in the whole galaxy. Just to name a few episodes in Supermans
history:
- due to Brainiac, Superman
crosses the streets as Gangbuster
- Superman banishs himself
from Earth - he goes from one galaxy to another
- in a far galaxy, he gets
nearly killed, but thanks to an alienpriester he survives (eradicator-contact)
- the neverending fight with
Lex Luthor
- the fight with Doomsday
(see below)
- struggling with the Cyborg
- loosing of his powers!
- new powers!

The fight with
Doomsday is one of the most spectacular events in the history of Superman.
The fight results into Superman protecting Metropolis with his life.

So there is a
world without Superman. Soon other come to take his place: Superboy,
Steel, Cyborg, Erdaicator. But none of them is the real Superman,
and after a while, the one and only Superman comes back, reborn and
with new fantastic powers. Long live Superman! |
